Our story

We are a couple founding a brand, a clothing brand. Yes, we’ve heard it already, many startups founded by couples do not succeed…but a rule is defined by it’s exception!! We are bound to be an exception.

We are both communication designers, i’m specialized in webdesign and hubbie in UX and mobile. We both have hobbies, he has a geekie one, very detailed miniatures to play wargames. Me?I like to say I have the hobby that can be a potential business.

Since infancy i’ve enjoyed learning how to do many kinds of crafts, from knitting, crochet, and so on, in pursuit of wanting to be a fashion designer my high school was specialized in textile design.

Later on, and family pressure, became a designer but not a fashion one. Started playing with cloths again when hubbie( not hubbie at that time) wanted to start medieval reenactment, to participate we needed to had historically accurate cloths. Where to buy? How much? Too expensive for university students, so the easiest way was to make our own cloths.

Found it quite simple, patterns were searched on the web, 12 and 13 century patterns §are quite geometric, so it was just cutting the pieces and sewing them together.

it was some fun times… going all around the country doing reenactment and showing of our homemade clothes, we were really proud of it. Suddenly we started to realise that online bought medieval clothes were not that fit to a person…we didn’t thought much about it.. as life went on, and suddenly there was no time to reenact.
